- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The SMXS/MXDEA announces its intention to negotiate and issue a sole source award for Open Client ADA Software Licensing and support with Sybase Inc. The service/licensing consists of: - Open Client ADA, P/N#26451, Qty 5, License type ST, OS - SUN - Standard Support for OC ADA, P/N#98591, Qty 5, License type OT, with additional support year. The anticipated period of performance will be for two years from the award date. Sybase Inc. is the only source known to provide the software licensing/support of this proprietary software. The SMXS/MXDEA intends to negotiate this requirement under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The sole source procurement will be awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR Subpart 13 procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement. All responses should be received by July 6,2009 10 am, Mountain Standard Time. All responses must be in writing and can be sent via email to cindy.chartier@hill.af.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted.
