Description
Request for Quote Sheet The purpose of this amendment, #6, is to correct amendment #5 posted 24 June 2009. Amendment 5 stated that a revision was done to the statement of work for "Clearance of Tress by South Housing Perimeter Fence Line and Airfield Fence Line in Front of Static Display." The first paragraph should read: 1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. This requirement is to clear the brush and small trees, less than 12 inches in diameter, for a distance of 15 feet away from the inside of the Charleston AFB base fence line along South Housing Area and the airfield fence line located in front of the static display. Additionally trim all tree limbs extending over and through the Charleston AFB base perimeter fence along South Housing area and on the airfield fence line in front of the static display for a distance of 20 feet high. Approximate area of work is a length of 3,600 feet of fence line by the South Housing Area and 2000 feet of work by the airfield fence line in front of the static display. Also, to change the Request for Quote sheet (RFQ), line item 0001 to read: Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary for the clearing of brush and small trees, less than 12 inches in diameter, for a distance of 15 feet away from the inside of the Charleston AFB base fence line along South Housing Area and the airfield fence line located in front of the static display. Additionally trim all tree limbs extending over and through the Charleston AFB base perimeter fence along South Housing area and on the airfield fence line in front of the static display for a distance of 20 feet high. Approximate area of work is a length of 3,600 feet of fence line by the South Housing Area and 2000 feet of work by the airfield fence line in front of the static display. The RFQ sheet and the above statement of work has been revised and dated 24 June 2009. Questions and Answers #5 should read: Is the contractor responsible for clearing the inside of the fence, to remove trees, shrubs and vines growing into the fence from their side? Yes, the statement of work is being revised to clear 15 feet inside of the fence. All other terms and conditions remains the same. Any questions please contact Jacqueline Brown, 843-963-5857.
