- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Apache—Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a requirement for Forestwide Fence New Construction and Maintenance-Repairs of existing fences, gates, corrals, habitat fence, and other fence-related structure construction. The Government anticipates making multiple awards (MAS) under the Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) format. Any work assigned to this contract will be accomplished by the issuance of a competitive task order among the awarded IDIQ Contractors. Most of this work is covered under the Davis-Bacon Act, for which wage determinations for various locations will be incorporated into the solicitation package. For work not covered by the Davis-Bacon Act, the current Service Contract Act wage determination will be attached to the affected Task Order. The Government anticipates awarding up to 5 or more Firm Fixed-Price IDIQ contracts using the Request For Proposal (RFP) format. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Small Business size standard is $14.0 Million under NAICS code 238990. The solicitation packages, plans, and specifications will be made available on or after July 7, 2009 and will be uploaded as an attachment to this announcement. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, Contractors shall be registered in Federal Vendor Databases (CCR / ORCA) and have DUNS / TIN numbers at time of award. No telephone requests for solicitation packages will be accepted. RFP packages ma be requested in writing by FAX to: (928) 333-5966, Attn: Margaret Cisco. A Pre-Proposal meeting will be announced in the RFP. All questions on the RFP shall be in writing and sent by fax or email. The Closing Date for responses to the RFP shall be July 30, 2009, 4:30 p.m. local time.
