- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A BRAND NAME contract for ACEM Thermal Desorption system Model 9300S using Federal Acquision Regulation FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This will be an acquisition under the authority of the test program for commercial items section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Contracting Center, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013 has a requirement to procure the following items: CLIN 0001 3 each Product Code #93045024 ACEM Thermal Desorption System, Model 9300S, Hand held controller and DC Software, Remote Start of Agilent 6890 GC/MS, Transfer Line, SilcoSteel liner, 48 flex jacket, ACEM shipping/installation kit (93025037) CLIN 0002 3 each Product Code #93025038 ACEM 9300 Checkout Kit for Semi- Volitile & Military Compounds CLIN 0003 3 each Product Code #AC502430 Mass Spec Checkout Option CLIN 0004 50 each Product Code #MX062111 Sorbent Tube, 4 inch long packed with 60:80 Mesh Tenax-TA CLIN 0005 10 each Product Code #MX062210 Focusing Traps, 4 long, packed with 60:80 mesh Tenax-TA CLIN 0006 1 each ACEM 9300 Spare Parts kit CLIN 0007 1 each Producct Code #1010-0459 Digital Flow Meter ADM 1000 CLIN 0008 1 each Installation & Training at Pine Bluff, Arkansas for 3 units DLIN 0009 1 each Shipping & Handling The intended delivery date for the items is 30 July 2009. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. All responses received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00 PM DST Eastern Time, Monday, July 6, 2009. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in this and future procurements.
