Description
This is a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a Base plus 4(1-year term option periods) under project number IQC09163009024. The procurement is for a total Estimated Annual Quantity of 156 each. FOB Destination and Inspection and Acceptance at Source (Origin). The Government's required delivery schedule 357 Days after receipt of order (DARO). This request is for National Stock Number 2840-01-467-4432 to procure a Seal, Air, Aircraft for Weapon Systems F404. The OEM is General Electric CAGE:99207 with one approved source of supply, Kerns Mfg CAGE:93596. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to this procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. This procurement is Unrestricted ulitizing Other than Full and Open Competition procedures in accordance with (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) FAR 6.302-1).This acquisition is for an initial Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with firm fixed price term option years. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is an Export Control Item, Navy identified Critical Safety Item, and Configuration Control Applies. A copy of this solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
