- Hydraulic Elevator Remodel and RefurbishConstruction Contract for Projects 570-09-113FCA and 570-09-126 This notice is provided for informational purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded a Construction Contract to Unks Construction, Inc. contract number VA261-C-0620. The contractor shall partially demolish and remodel four passenger elevators at the VA Central California Health Care System, Fresno, CA. Work includes the furnishing of labor, material, supervision, and engineering for the modernization of four elevators. Work items for this contract include, but are not limited to, replacement of tanks, motors, pumps and control valves, new controllers and starters, new shutoff valves, new oil lines, new wire ways, new steel doors and door assemblies, new cables, new cab interior finishing, and new audio voice system.
