- The National Park Service (NPS) anticipates soliciting for proposals and awarding a construction contract for the upgrade of electrical sytems in five West Glacier housing complex residences.A) Set-aside: This requirement is solicited as a full and open competion pursuiant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program.B) Brief Project Description: The project will replace the existing electrical system in the entire houses, including all wiring, switches, outlets, electrical panel, meter base, electrical fixtures, and install ground rods to bring these facilities up to the current electrical code. GFCIs will be installed where required by code. The work will require some interior demolition, patching, and painting as necessary to accomplish the rewiring.C) Schedule: All dates are tentative and may change. Issue Request for Proposals July 10, 2009; Proposals due August 10, 2009; Award contract August 30, 2009.
