- SYNOPSIS Services Non-Personal: The Air Force intends to make an award on a competitive basic for the following service: repainting of select artifact aircraft for the museum. The service includes corrosion control, painting, and the application of decals upon specific areas of each artifact aircraft. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and tools to perform the work in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The solicitation, FA2517-09-T-6021, will be available on or about 29 June 2009. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) web site http://www.fbo.gov/. This requirement will be accessible to those companies deemed eligible by the information they provided when they register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) web site http://www.ccr.gov/ and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) web site http://bpn.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. The Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments and other general information, will also be distributed solely through this site. All interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have up-to-date information about this acquisition and are encouraged to monitor and register their company on the Interested Vendor List (IVL) and Register to Receive Notifications. This is a small business set aside. The anticipated award will be Firm Fixed Priced contract. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 332812 with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
