- Description
- The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) on behalf of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations having the capability to develop a information research dissemination center that collects requests from the public and disseminations information in a timely manner. The NINDS inquiry response and information dissemination support services will be staffed with information specialists using various technologies to respond to web, mail, telephone, email and fax inquiries. The staff will disseminate printed materials, as well as encourage and facilitate direct access of NINDS information through Web, listserves and other communication means. The telephone system will promote the Institute, its products, and its health message to callers. The intent is to collect, analyze and spread accurate, timely neurological disorders information to health care professionals and the general public based on information needs, using the principles of health knowledge transfer, and health communications. NIDA anticipates a 5-year cost plus fixed fee type contract. This requirement will be a total small business set aside award. RFP No. HHS-NIH-NIDA-SSSA-2009-0001 will be available electronically on or about July 10, 2009. You can access the RFP through the Fedbizopps (URL:http://www.fedbizopps.gov). All information required for the submission of a proposal will be contained in or accessible through the RFP package. Response to the RFP will due on or about August 10, 2009.
