- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to repair Building 2610, Consolidated Services Building located on Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. Project consists of the following: (1) Demolishing a portion of the existing 50,000 SF building (interior and exterior); (2) Completely replacing the roof structure with new structural members and a new roof system; (3) Demolishing and constructing entirely new electrical and mechanical systems; (4) Constructing new interior restrooms and extending the existing utilities as necessary; (5) Constructing a 7,000 SF addition to the interior mezzanine of the building; (6) Making all necessary renovations to the facility to bring it into compliance with current codes; and (7) Renovating the interior structures, finishes, partitions, and flooring, as necessary, for occupancy; (8) Exterior work includes paving and landscaping. Performance period is 480 calendar days. Solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. Magnitude is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code of 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction CAN; size standard is $33.5 million. Acquisition is unrestricted. A single award will be made as a result of a best value determination using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided as these documents, which include the solicitation, drawings, and specification, can be downloaded from FedBizOpps at http//:www.fbo.gov and should be available on or about 16 July 2009. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The closing date for submission of offers is estimated to be on or about 17 August 2009.
