- Description
- The US Army Joint Munitions and Lethality (JM&L) Life Cycle Management Command(LCMC) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to W15QKN-09-C- Ultrasonic Detection of Defects in Melt Cast Munitions to University of Denver-Advanced Research and Technology Institute, Denver, CO 80208 on a sole source basis. The period of performance for this effort is approximately 18 months. The U.S.Army intends to satisfy this requirement for the above through Other Than Full and Open Competition, Soule Source Procedures utilizing the authority cited 10.U.S.C.2304 (c)(1)-Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B) substantial duplication of costs and unacceptable delay. The Justification & Approval (J&A) is currently being staffed. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
