The BD FacsAriaII Instrument comes with the FACSDiVA software for durability with existing NINDS cell sorter. The FacsAriaII is a high speed cell sorter that requires no user optical alignment, laser alignment or laser focus. It is a high speed cell sorter that has a gel-coupled cuvette that collects 4 times as much excitation light through improving sensitivity in signal detection. The FacAriaII has a cloning unit that can have unique sort regions for different wells within the same 96 well plate with the ability to chill or heat the 96 well trays. The FACSAriaII is the only high speed cell sorter that offers Accudrop technology, Accudrop technology allows the operator to monitor side streams while sorting. Accudrop provides for a faster sort set-up providing the operator with a visual display of the sort set-up. The FacAriaII requires no special room adjustments. It is designed to fit on a standard laboratory bench top with a cytometer footprint of 28” deep by 48” wide by 28”high. FacAriaII only requires a signal 20 amp 120 vac outlets for the entire system including the laser, vacuum and air supplies.
