- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR the Modify Outpatient Lobby Project at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center, Iron Mountain, MI. Contractor shall provide for and furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certificates, insurance, temporary protection, and other items designated under the provisions of this contract Modify Outpatient Lobby, project number 585-08-102B, first floor of building #1 of the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain, MI. Work includes select demo and renovation including partial walls, doors, plumbing, electrical and other items in working condition and complete as outlined in the contract specifications and as shown on the contract drawings. Floor work in conjunction with other project; EOC Upgrade 585-07-115. Some work will be required after hours. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on Fedbizops. There will be pre-construction conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-construction conference will be included in the solicitation packages. The solicitation will be issued on/about July 10, 2009 with the bid opening on/about August 10, 2009. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from Fedbizops, which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $25,000 - $100,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $33.5 Million. Time for completion is 30 days after Notice to Proceed. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, the contractor is required to register in the Central Contractor Registration.
