- Description
- The Department of Interior, Minerals Management Service (MMS) has a requirement for commercial non-personal services for a Geotechnical study and interpretation of satellite imagery identifying oil seeps in offshore Alaskan waters. The study will include area coverage of Federal waters of the Alaska OCS encompassing the Beaufort Sea, Chukchi Sea and North Aleutian Basin Sale 214 Area. Data and Interpretation will be required including satellite scene outlines, geo-referenced images, metadata of scene descriptions, summary of offshore seeps, data provided within ArcGIS, Arcreader or Google Earth, hard copy maps All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. This purchase is being accomplished under NAICS 541360, SIC 1382, PSC F015. MMS intends to award one competitive Firm Fixed Price contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Commercial Acquisitions and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance is anticipated to be from 7/31/09 to 8/31/09. The magnitude and estimated value range of this purchase is between $25,000 and $100,000.
