Description

AV8B F402 Engine, Three (3) Hydromechanical Units (HMUs) require upgrading under NAVAIR approved ECP 3759-R3. The contractor, Hamilton Sundstrand shall modify Part Number HMU817-300, Serial Numbers F50915 and F49757 and HMU Part Number 817300-31, Serial Number F50914 and upgrade them to the most recent Part Number 817300-33. The tasks required to be performed include reassemble and performance of test procedures in accordance with ECP3759-R3. The ECP adds the introductoin of an Enhanced Variable Inlet Gudie Vane Control System (EVICS) which incorporates and Inlet Guide Vane Digital Electronic Controller (IDEC), Hydromechanical Unit (HMU), new T1 probe and associated dressings. This replaces the current IGV Controller. The EVICS System Data is proprietary to Hamilton Sundstrand. The required item can not be provided without said proprietary data. NOTE 22 Applies
