- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is an order under an existing contract that was awarded using non-competitive procedures. Parking lot repairs and new parking area at Military Mail Distribution Building 3502, Edwards AFB, CA a.Administration and notification to the facility manager b.Mobilize and setup monitors to mark out and paint all existing utilities c.Demo concrete curbs and 20 x 20 existing storage shed d.Pulverize asphalt areas e.Widen existing parking lot North/East of Building 3502 f.Survey for 100% drainage on new asphalt surface and valley gutters g.Excavate and export excess material for new drainage layout h.Remove unsuitable material/failed areas and compact i.Grading and compaction for concrete installation; which includes the following: -Drainage Valley Gutters -Asphalt Curbs -Curb and Gutter -Spandrels j.Fine grade and compact pulverized area to accept new paving k.Install gold landscaping rock between two front entrances l.Install new 3 asphalt paving m.Striping per striping plan n.Jobsite cleanup and de-mobilize
