- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for maintenance and repair of audio visual equipment (consumer electronics) using a base + 4 performance based service contract. Award is expected to be made on or near 13 July 2009. This service will be conducted at Patrick AFB, FL. Period of performance is ASAP and four one-year options may be awarded. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-09-T-0085 is issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 7629, business size of $7M and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 811211. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 2 July 2009 at www.fbo.gov. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136), or e-mail. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. Anticipated award date will be on or around 13 July 2009.
