Description

The purpose of this amendment is to change the title of the notice as directed by DoD for administrative purposes only. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO THE SMALL BUSNESS ADMINISTRATION UTILIZING DIRECT 8(a) AWARD PROCEDURES. A UNILATERAL OFFER HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO AND ACCEPTED BY THE SBA SAN ANTONIO DISTRICT OFFICE. The work is to take place at Randolph AFB, Texas. The general work includes installation of low profile efficient transformers and reliable high voltage switchgear. Place the new equipment in locations outside the building that meets NEC requirements (clearance of 10 feet in front of cabinet). Relocate high voltage circuits from underneath the building to a more accessible location. And install high voltage circuits in a loop system for more liability. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00. The Request for Proposal was issued 16 Mar 09 and will close on or about 14 Apr 09.
