Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5. The 96th Contracting Squadron is seeking to identify sources that can provide a Millimeter Wave Bandpass Filter for Eglin AFB based on the requirements below. This sources sought is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources. This notice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposal, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334516, with small business standard size of 500 employees. Responses to this notice must be received within 7 days from date of notice publication. The Government will not award a contract solely on the basis of this Sources Sought Notice, nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. Any interested parties shall ensure that they are registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). To register in CCR, go to http://www.ccr.gov or call 1-888-227-2423 for assistance. A requirement exists for a Millimeter Wave Bandpass Filter with the following specifications: • Millimeter wave bandpass filter with a center frequency f 35.4 GHz • Bandwidth at the 1 dB point of 1200 MHz • Bandwidth at the -3dB point of 1400 MHz • Rejection below 34.7 GHz <= -3 dB • Rejection above 36.1 GHz <= -3 dB • Insertion loss < 3.5 dB • Input and Output interface must be a WR-28 compatible square waveguide flange
