Description

Work for this project includes geogrid reinforced 3,000 SY deep patching to include hot mix asphalt (3 inches), base (4 inches), and subbase (8 inches), 2 inches hot mix asphalt overlay marina road plus or minus 4,300 tons 2.65 miles in length, 2 inches hot mix asphalt overlay marina parking lot plus or minus 1,350 tons over plus or minus 12,215 SY. Other work will include traffic control, wasting excavation, removing existing asphalt that has been excavated from project patching areas and removing from National Forest lands. There will be a prebid tour on July 28, 2009, offerors are encouraged to attend. The project cost estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required per the Miller Act and Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the bidder will render a bidder ineligible for award. Bidders may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov//.
