Description

The intent of the contract is to provide Rehabilitation and Stabilization of FSR 6024, 63, 6310, 6330, 6334, 6350, 6510, 6514 on the Skykomish Ranger District. Deferred maintenance of eight roads will be completed to replace worn and rotten culverts. Improve road drainage by reestablishing road prism & surface, and pull back subsidence cracking along fill slope. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, and perform all work required to maintain the facilities according with drawings and specifications of the contract. The Contractor shall assume all risk, loss, damage, or expense arising out of prosecution of the work, except as otherwise provided in the contract. The resulting contract will be a performance based, Indefinite Quantity contract with a minimum guarantee of $85,000 with a maximum not to exceed of $100,000. FSR 6024, 63, 6310, 6330, 6334, 6350, 6510, 6514 road is located on the Skykomish Ranger Districts. District maps showing the road systems are available for purchase at the district offices. Roads and work items will be identified on Task orders for the Contractor. These roads at a minimum are passable with a high clearance vehicle. Most work will be on improved, native or aggregate surface roads. The Contractor shall start work when directed within three calendar days from date of issued work orders.
