Description

THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY REQUIREMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS PROVIDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA), PUBLIC LAW 111-5. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO COMPLETE BUILDING CORPORATION, 1525 ASHLEY RIVER ROAD, CHARLESTON, SC, 29407, UNDER CONTRACT WC1330-05-CQ-1075, AN INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) MULITIPLE AWARD TASK ORDER CONTRACT (MATOC) FOR DESIGN-BUILD CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS, AS A FOLLOW-ON TO AN ORDER ALREADY ISSUED UNDER THE CONTRACT. The U. S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) posts this notice of intent to issue a firm-fixed price follow-on task order (T.O.) on a sole-source basis against Contract Number W1330-05-CQ-1075 with Complete Building Corporation (CBC) of Charleston, SC, for completion of asbestos abatement and related building renovations at the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL) in Princeton, NJ. This T.O. is being awarded under the exception to fair opportunity authorized by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 16.505(b)(2)(iii) which allows for an order on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency when the order is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract when all awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order. All awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order, T.O. T0011, for asbestos abatement and related building renovations at the GFDL, which was awarded on September 19, 2007. This notice is for full disclosure compliance and announcement of potential subcontracting opportunities only. No competitive solicitation package is available, and no offers will be accepted from any source other than Complete Building Corporation, 1525 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC 29407-5201, Telephone: (843) 763-2463.
