- Sole Source Notice: This is a notice of intent of The Louis Stokes Cleveland, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141, In accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 41 USC 253 (c) (1) to solicit a single source for procurement of Preventive Maintenance services for a Hansen Medical Sensei Robotic System. The Department of Veterans Affairs intent is to sole source the following requirement to the Hansen Medical Company. The North American Industry Classification System code is 423450/100 employees. The purpose of this procurement for services is to provide full maintenance support and all support items / components. Maintenance services include telephone support & on-site corrective repairs, during and after normal working hours (8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday excluding Federal holidays), 24-hour emergency service and two routine preventive maintenance service inspections to the following VA owned equipment: Hansen Medical, Sensei Robotic System and associated systems, subsystem components, and assemblies with Remote Catheter Manipulator replacement as necessary and product updates as determined by the OEM. All responses must be received within 7 days of this publication. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that the action may be competed. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
