Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W58RGZ-10-R-0003. The US Government intends to procure services for Performance Based Logistics (PBL) for the current Shadow Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems (TUAS). The Shadow TUAS is designed to meet the Army's requirement for flexible, responsive near-real-time Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition (RTSA), Battle Damage Assessment (BDA), and battle management support to maneuver commanders of Brigade Combat Teams and Armored Calvary Regiments for peace operations and all levels of war. The PBL Contract contemplated must sustain Operational Availability at required levels. It will meet performance goals for the Shadow TUAS using a performance based Contractor Managed Supply and Maintenance system that delivers measurable Performance Metrics. This requirement is planned as a sole source to AAI Corporation, CAGE 97384, Original Equipment Manufacturer of the Shadow TUAS. AAI Corporation is the only source with the corporate knowledge, expertise, and facilities to execute all basic as well as all over and above related production manufacturing and contractor logistic support requirements for the Shadow 200 TUAS program. AAI is uniquely qualified due to their capabilities gained during engineering and manufacturing development as executed during an ongoing contract and system maturation. Many of the components of the Shadow 200 system are proprietary and the Government does not own the Technical Data Package (TDP) for the system or components.
