Description
A Market Survey is being conducted to determine if there are interested and qualified Small Business, HUBZone small business, 8(a) small business, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business contractors for the following proposed project: an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract for geotechnical drilling and laboratory testing, to be conducted throughout the United States. Work will include soil test borings, rock coring, instrumentation installation, subsurface exploration, inspection of subsurface explorations, a complete range of geotechnical laboratory testing, field geotechnical observations and evaluations and associated reporting, surveying and safety. Work involves the ability to mobilize multiple drill rigs and drill crews with short notice. The project is planned for advertisement approximately July 2009 with approximate award scheduled for September 2009. Contract duration is estimated to be 3 years and with an estimated cost of $3,000,000.00 with each task order ranging from approximately $5,000.00 to $100,000.00 each. NAICS code is 562910. Size limitation is $12.0 Million. All interested Small Business, HUBZone small business, 8(a) small business, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business contractors should notify this office in writing by mail on or before 13 July 2009 by 2 PM Eastern Standard Time. Responses should include: (1) Identification as a Small Business or verification of the company by the Small Business Administration, as either a certified HUBZone, certified 8(a), of Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, (2) The level of performance and payment bonding capacity that the company could attain for the proposed project, (3) Past Experience as a prime contractor Provide descriptions of your firms past experience on projects completed within the last 3 years which are similar to this project in size, scope and dollar value.
