- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. M67004-09-T-0213 is being issued as a Request for Quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are thosein effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25. The Marine Corps Logistics Command in Albany, GA intends to solicite and negotiate a firm fixed price contract with Babington Inc, (Cage 04AL0) for the following part: Item 0001: 7310-01-442-8340, PN: B42000-95-0001, Multi-Fuel Burner. Quantity: 50 Each. NO TECHNICAL DATA IS AVAILABLE. Ship to: Defense Distribution Depot Albany (SW3121), Transportation Officer, Albany, GA 31704. Delivery date: 90 days ARO or Sooner. FOB Destination pricing is preferred. The NAICS Code is 333294 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is not set-aside for small business. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offerors whose offer conforms to this solicitation; and is considered to be the best value to the Government. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial product, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offerors shall also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (Cage) code, Contractor Establishment code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number. CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTER AND WIDER AREA WORKFLOW (WAWF) TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. The United States Marine Corps utilizes WAWF as its ONLY authorized method to electronically process vendor requests for payment.
