Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, plans to award a sole source modification under existing contract N00253-09-P-0140 with Unholtz-Dickie Corporation under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. The contract is for vibration amplifiers in support of NUWC Division Keyport, Environmental Test Facility (ETF), located at NUWC Division Keyport's Bangor Annex. The vibration amplifiers are part of the Vibration Facility Amplifier System located at the ETF. The modification is to incorporate the following changes: upgrading the current 120 KVA T2000 (2" stroke, 20k lbf pk vibe, 40k lbf pk shock, shock velocity of 125 inch/sec pk) to a 360 KVA T2000 (3" stroke, 25k lbf pk vibe, 78k lbf pk shock, shock velocity of 235 inch/sec pk), upgraded remote power panel, reduce remote cable length by 85 feet, SRP mods, add 70 feet of amplifier to shaker cable, cable length from a! mplifier to blower of 60 feet, and add Align Lock option. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Responses to this noticed must be received by 4:00 p.m. pacific standard time on Monday, July 13, 2009. Responses shall be submitted via email to tariq.al-agba@navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
