- RECOVERY--Provide Design build Services to improve installtion electrical and data communication improvements for facilities at Fort Custer Training Center, Augusta Michigan in support of the Michigan Army National Guard. Project includes three items to imporve overall Electrical data-com facilities. Transformer Repair and Services; Base Medium voltage Electrical Distribution Installation; Fort Custer Education Center Emergency Power System Installation. The magitude of this roject is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Site Visit is scheduled for 22 July 2009 at 10:00am at Fort Custer Training Center, Augusta Michigan. This procurement is totally set aside for small business participation. The NAICS code applicable for this procurement is 238210 with a small business size standard of $14 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. All responsible firms may submit an offer. The selection process will be in acordance with FAR part 15 and Part 36 two-phase design build procedures. Solicitation will be available on or about 21 July 2009, Interested parties or contractors are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-proposal conference site visit and shall register by submitting request via email to eva.lauchie@ng.army.mil. Offerors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Firms can register via the CCR internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the CCR information Center at 1-888-227-3423. Interested offors are required to submit their representations and certifications on-line at http://orca.tpn.gov. You will need your DUNS number and CCR MPIN in order to log into the online representatiions and certifications application (RCA) website. The solicitation and associated information minus the plans and specificatios will be available from the EBS website http://www.nationalguardcontracting.org/Ebs/Advertisedsolicitations.asp. All contractors and subcontractors interested in this project must register on this site. This solicitation is not a competitive bid and there will not be a formal public bid opening. All inquires must be in writing, preferably via email to eva.lauchie@ng.army.mil. All answers will be provided in writing via posting to the web site.
