Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER MACC CONTRACT N68711-04-D-3001, INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (MACC) FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION OF VARIOUS DRY UTILITIES AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN THE SOUTHWEST AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ARIZONA, CALIFORNIA, NEVADA AND NEW MEXICO. The solicitation will not be made available on this website. Project Description: The intent of this RFP is to obtain all services, labor, materials to provide design, construction, permitting, commissioning and training for a Solar Photovoltaic Rooftop Power Systems Installation for Bldg 23209 and Phase III Lighting Upgrades for the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Camp Pendleton, California, complete and ready to use as required by the specifications and drawings provided in this Request for Proposal (RFP). The contractor is to provide a system that will supply rated alternating current (AC) as specified by the manufacturer, complete with poly crystalline Photovoltaic (PV) modules or panels, main and sub-components (e.g. combiner boxes, disconnect switches, inverters), equipment mounting and supports boxes, wiring, conduit and other parts required for a complete, fully operational and reliable PV System. The PV components shall be based on specific listing of AEC/local regulated utility products (i.e., panels/inverters and their efficiencies/model numbers, etc.) that meet the California Solar Initiative and the performance based payments for rebate/incentive based on documented power generation. The PV arrays shall be sized to achieve the production of 50kW (AC), as specified throughout this RFP The duration of the project is 345 calendar days from the date of award, which consist of 330 calendar days, and 15 calendar days for bonds submissions. Project Issue Date of RFP to MACC Contractors: Approximately 6 July 2009. Construction cost limit is $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00
