- RECOVERY--Provide all transportation, parts, materials, equipment and laborer to provide and install a complete security camera monitoring system (SCMS) designed for marine environment on board the US Army Dredge Ship Wheeler. The SCMS shall have 360 degree viewing and a minimum display resolution of 720 x 480. The SCMS will be tied to a central Digital Video Recorder (DVR) capable of storing a minimum of two weeks of recorded information. DVR shall have composite TVx1/VGAx1video output. Exterior cameras shall be capable of with standing gale force winds and various hazardous weather conditions. Interior cameras shall be water resistant and withstand temperatures of 150 degree F. All bulkhead wiring penetrations shall meet ABS and Coast Guard requirements and all other requirements as described in the Description of Work. Solicitation W912P8-09-R-0101 and other information pertaining to this acquisition will be made available electronically through the Federal Business Opportunities electronic posting system web link at http://www.fbo.gov. It is all potential offerors responsibility to monitor the fedbiz website for any amendments, updates, bidders library, responses to questions and answers. It is incumbent upon all potential offerors to download the solicitation and all other documents from the fedbiz website. No telephone requests will be accepted. The basis of award will be lowest price. The anticipated solicitation release date is on or about 10 Jul 2009 with a closing date estimated on or about 30 Jul 2009. This action will be Total Hub-Zone Set-Aside, the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210 and the business size standard is $14,000,000. The requirement will be procured as a firm fixed price contract. NOTE: Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for contract award. Information on registration may be obtained via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet.
