- Description
- The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB NV, is soliciting proposals to complete RECOVERY project RKMF 04-0020, REPAIR AIRFIELD LIGHTING CIRCUIT CABLES. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision, and all else required to replace the wiring for the Nellis airfield lighting systems to include but not limited to runway edge lights; edge lights for taxiways A, D, E, F, and G; distance remaining markers; navigation and/or guidance signs; threshold lights; overrun lights; and the approach system, both steady burning and sequenced flashers. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $1 Million and $5 Million with a performance period of 540 calendar days (the project is phased to accommodate runway activities). The proposed contract type is firm-fixed-price. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237130, with a small business size standard of $33.5 Million. The solicitation is competitive and restricted to SBA-certified HubZone small business firms. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be electronically issued o/a 21-JUL-2009 on the Government's Federal Business Opportunities site (http://www.fbo.gov). PAPER COPIES ARE NOT AVAILABLE.
