Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents.The Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center (RLR VAMC), Indianapolis, IN, is conducting a market survey for qualified SMALL BUSINESSES (including Veteran-Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), Woman-Owned, and Hub Zone) capable of providing the required window cleaning services outlined below. Applicable NAICS code is 561720 size standard $16.5 million. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than July 13th, 2009. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must indentify the socioeconomic category of the respondent (Veteran-Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, Woman-Owned, and Hub Zone), name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, examples of similar facilities where services have been performed, and must also include the company's DUNS number. Description of work to be performed includes: The Contractor shall provide all supplies, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management and transportation to perform the following tasks at the VA Medical Center campus located in Marion, Indiana: Contractor shall clean approximately 1,723 windows of the following areas: Library building #49, building #41, warehouse building #55, mailroom building #59, engineering building living quarters: 38, 36, 30, 29, 26, 34, 32, 33, 31, 28, 27, the police station building #14, Chapel, building #65, buildings 2, 5, 6, 12, fire station building #173, 185, 124, 15, 16, 17,174, 172, and building 138. The services include, but are not limited to: Cleaning of windows, window frames, sills and sashes to include discoloration due to nicotine, grease, and oils. Cleaning of insect and solar screens to including the removal of rust, paint, bee hives, bird nest, etc. Replacement of component elements of window units damaged during accomplishment of contractual services. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, HubZone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, small business, or large business) relative to NAICS 561720 (size standard of $16.5 million per annum). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company name, a service capability statement, three customer references to which you have provided similar services to, point of contact, DUNS number and the size of your business pursuant to the following questions: (1) Is your business large or small? (2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emerging business, or small disadvantaged business? (3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act? (4) Is your firm a certified HubZone firm? (5) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (6) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small or Veteran Owned Small Business?
