Description

List of Spares The Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, New Jersey (NAWCADLKE) intends to issue a sole source contract with TLD America- Defense Programs Office of 812 Bloomfield Ave Windsor, CT 06095 as per the authority of 10 USC 2304(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The purpose of the proposed contract is to procure the parts and quantities listed in Attachment 1. FOB Destination will be Lakehurst, NJ 08733. These support equipment spare parts are specifically designed and developed to support the ACU 802-H-CUP Aircraft Air Conditioner by TLD with the purpose of improving the US Navy Fleet's ability to maintain this equipment. The Government does not own the data rights for the ACU 802-H-CUP Aircraft Air Conditioner or for the subject support equipment. TLD America- Defense Programs Office is the sole designer and manufacture of the subject support equipment and is the only known firm which possesses the knowledge, experience, and technical expertise necessary to fulfill the Navy's requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition, based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
