Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W9124L09T0077. Commercial Services. Work required by the contractor shall consist of a full range of services to remove existing office furniture, equipment and related supplies from current location, transport the items to the new location, and place them according to instructions contained herein. Contractor shall provide personnel and equipment necessary to accomplish move from one location to another. Services include but are not limited to pre-move planning, providing packaging materials, packing/crating, supervision, loading/unloading, delivery and setup. Items to be relocated are listed on a punch list and will be marked prior to the relocation by government personnel. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 484210, Used Household and Office Goods Moving is applicable to this acquisition. The applicable size standard is $25.5 millions of dollars. The Government will issue a 100% set-aside for small business Request for Quotes (RFQ). The Government will evaluate offers in response to this request and award a purchase order/contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this request, and will be most advantageous to the Government considering price and other factors (e.g., past performance, delivery, socio-economic status and/or quality). Award will be made based upon the best value to the Government in accordance with procedures in FAR 13.106-2(b). Award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is contemplated. Services will be procured pursuant to the regulatory direction of FAR Part 13.5 Test Program For Certain Commercial Items. Period of performance for this requirement shall be 3 August 2009 to 21 August 2009. The entire solicitation package will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/, the Fort Sill Directorate of Contracting homepage at http://sill-www.army.mil/doc/, and the Army Single Face Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. Requests for copies of the solicitation package by any other means will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps and/or Directorate of Contracting websites for the release of the solicitation package or subsequent solicitation amendments. The RFQ will be issued on or about 14 July 2009. The closing date for submission of offers will be 24 July 2009, 4:00 p.m. CST. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered. SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit for this project 17 July 2009. It would be to the advantage of all interested bidders to attend this site visit. SITE VISIT ARRANGEMENTS: An organized site visit has been arranged to inspect the site where these services are to be performed. The site visit will be on 17 July 2009 at 9:00 a.m. central standard time (CST). Persons attending the site visit should be at Directorate of Contracting, Bldg 1803, 2418 NW Macomb Road, Fort Sill, OK no later than 8:45 a.m. CST on 17 July 2009. Due to the limited space available, each concern should limit the number of their representatives attending to two (2) persons. Written or telephonic notification of attendance must be received by the Contracting Officer not later than 15 July 2009, @ 4:00 p.m. CST. Point of contact is Lisa G.
