Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Ammunition Trailer) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). RFQ # M67399-09-Q-0107 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-33. This is a restricted purchase set-aside for 100% Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336212. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this order is 3715. The small business size standards are 500 EMP. The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) for this order is 2330. This solicitation is for the procurement of Ammunition Trailers. The requirement is listed as follows: Ammunition Trailer. Quantity of 10 Each. 20,000 lb capacity. All steel construction with the exception of the deck. Tie rod steering type front end. 10 tie down rings. Outside deck dimension eight (8) feet wide by fifteen (15) feet long. Inch and a half (1 ") thick pressure treated (white in color) wood deck. 10 ply tube type tires with field assembly type rims, four (4) each per trailer. Lunette eye tow bar. Rear Pintle hook. Twenty six (26) inch deck height. Single step on type rear parking brake. Entire trailer to be painted hi-visibility yellow, with the exception of the deck. Weight of trailer not to exceed 1200 lbs. Five (5)trailers required within 45 days of contract award, remaining five (5) trailers required within 100 days of contract. One year warranty required for parts and labor. Place of contract delivery will be at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC)/Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MCAGTFTC), Twenty-nine Palms, CA 92278.
