Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, New Jersey (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Howell Instruments, Inc. of 8945 South Freeway Fort Worth, TX 76140 under the authority of 10 USC 2304(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The purpose of the proposed contract is to procure one hundred (100) each of VGV Adapters (BH29826) in support of the T64 engine. These support equipment tools were specifically designed and developed by Howell Instruments, Inc. to support the T64 engine. The Government does not have the detailed data available for this effort. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
