Description
The Federal Aviation Administration's Central Service Area intends to solicit for Janitorial services at the Houston, TX Air Route Traffic Control Center's Child Care Facility. The requirement is for one year with four one year options to renew. The Base Period is October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010. This procurement is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS assigned NAICS code 561720. Contractors must have an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration website at http://www.ccr.gov before an award can be made. To receive a copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP) all companies that qualify must submit a request in writing via e-mail, or fax to the Contracting Officer at 817-222-5994, with the company name, point of contact, mailing address,e-mail address, telephone number and the complete RFP number. All request must be received no later than 3:00 P.M. CST THURSDAY July 9, 2009. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST OR REQUEST AFTER THE ABOVE DEADLINE WILL BE ACCEPTED. NO EXCEPTIONS. "This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
