- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking the services of qualified resources specialists to quantify the presence/absence of noxious weeds on public lands along the transportation system within the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument. Infestations will be mapped using BLM's National Invasive Species Iformation Management System (NISIMS) ArcPad application. Small spot infestations will be treated immediately upon documentation (treatment should not be made to control field bindweed, Canada thistle, or infestitions greater than 0.1 acre) so a MT certified applicator will be required. Photo documentation of each infestation observed will also be required. The Inventory area will be conducted w/in 25 ft on each side of the open and seasonally open roads in South Blaine, South Phillips, North Fergus, and portions of Chauteau counties, and immediate areas surrounding identified reservoirs that are within the Monument boundries. All work requirements are stated in the Statement of Work which is posted with the Combined Synopsis/solicitation at "www.fedconnect.net".This combined synopsis/solicitation closes on 7/20/2009. This is set aside for small business concerns. The contract will start on/about August 1, 2009 and be completed by October 31, 2009. The NAISC Code is 541690. The small business size standard is $7.0 million. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR and ORCA databases will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at "http://www.ccr.gov", and Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) online at "http://orca.bpn.gov".
