- Description
- The 43rd Contracting Squadron at Pope AFB, NC, intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Mess Attendant Services at Pope AFB, NC. IAW FAR 8.002 (2) (i), the Government will procure these services from AbilityOne participating non-profit agencies as mess attendant services are on the Procurement List maintained by the Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for one (1) base and four (4) option years. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 722310 and the small business size standard is $20.5 million. This acquisition is subject to the Javits-Wagner-O'Day Act (41 U.S.C. 46-48C). The anticipated posting of the RFP is 20 July 2009. The point of contact is Viktoria Reed at viktoria.reed@pope.af.mil.
