Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for the annual renewal of twenty-four (24) Xray machines nationwide of DEA owned equipment for the maintenance and repair on DEA owned x-ray systems. The services are required in order to maintain the integrity, safety, and security of DEA facilities located throughout the Continental United States. II. Statement of Work:The contractor shall provide annual and preventive maintenance and repairs for 24 DEA owned x-ray systems located at DEA facilities listed below. -California (1)Washington (3)Virginia (2)New York (1)Arizona (1) -Oklahoma (2)Texas (5)Connecticut (1)West Virginia (1) -Rhode Island (1)Idaho (1)Montana (1)Florida (2)Nevada (1) -Massachusetts (1) III. Requirements: The contractor shall provide the following services which are included within the contract: -All necessary repair parts and freight related expenses -Regular (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm) labor hours for remedial maintenance -Regular (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm) travel time to and from the equipment site -All subsistence expenses -One annual preventative maintenance inspection per x-ray system -One annual radiation safety survey and preparation of FAA Form 1650-17 per x-ray system. -Provide 8 hour response times in geographical locations where resident service engineers are present -Provide 24 hour response times in geographical locations where resident service engineers are not present -Service engineers must have current training certification from original equipment manufacturer -All spare parts and materials provided and replaced by the Contractor, regardless if they are new; factory refurbished, rebuilt, restored, renovated or reconditioned, shall be warranted for the life of the contract. All spare parts and materials provided and replaced by the Contractor, regardless if they are new; factory refurbished, rebuilt, restored, renovated or reconditioned during the final 90 days of this contract, shall be warranted for ninety (90) days from the date of installation -Buy parts directly from the original equipment manufacturer to ensure quality and compatibility -Provide detailed and itemized service call report to buyer upon completion of each service call -Provide maintenance and service on all LS-210E & LS-222S x-ray systems -Include in the monthly rate as required all lodging, travel, and per diem expenses not covered under this agreement IV. Deliverables:Service actions performed by the contractor shall include all parts, materials, and labor required to adjust, maintain, repair or restore the equipment to proper operating conditions in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications. Contractor will not perform any modifications to the equipment without buyer’s written approval. Contractor shall perform all service actions at the equipment site whenever possible and practical. Contractor shall perform all service actions with the least possible interference or disruption to the orderly conduct of buyer’s normal operations. Upon completion of service, contractor shall leave premises in as neat, orderly, and clean condition as existed upon start of service action. V. Period of Performance:Contractor shall provide services for twelve (12) months Closing date is July 10, 2009. No solicitation is available
