- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Opnet Technologies, Inc., 7255 Woodmont Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814 to provide maintenance and software support for Opnet software for a period of performance from 01 September 2009 through 31 August 2010. Opnet Technologies is the only source that can provide the Opnet software maintenance and provide updates and technical support on the software. Though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, information received within sixteen (16) days after the publication of the solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 541511.
