- There is no solicitation. The US Fish and Wildlife Service, contracting and General Services Division in Portland, Oregon has plans to award using other than full and open competition to Praqua Supplies Limited of Nanaimo BC for the following item 1) Vaki Fish Grader which is a revolving high speed fish grader that has a total diameter of only 96cm, less than half the size of other graders. It can simultaneously accurately grade up to 4 different fish sizes from 0.2g to 50g and has a capacity of up to 1,000 kg per hour. This grader can be used as a stand along piece of equipment, but it has been designed to work in series with the Vaki 3 channel Micro Counter and Heathro Fish Pump. Praqua is the sole North American supplie for Vaki products. The Service intends to award Sole Source to Praqua Supplies Limited. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award using other than full and open competition and is not a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW FAR 6.302-1. Technical inquiries may be directed to Bill Edwards at (360) 288-2508 x 222.
