- Statement of Work (SOW) - FA4887-09-R-0011 - Purchase & Install Aeration Ditch Mixers at Wastewater Treatement Plant FA4887-09-R-0011, Purchase & Install Aeration Ditch Mixers at Wastewater Treatement Plant NOTE: SEE INFORMATION ADDED TO DESCRIPTION RESTRICTING COMPETIION TO HUBZONE COMPANIES. The 56th Contracting Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, AZ intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for acquisition of aeration ditch mixers at Luke AFB, AZ. The principal work is to purchase and install 3 aeration ditch mixers at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Type of work will consist of the following: purchasing necessary components to be installed, electrical excavation and backfill, electrical wiring, relocation of oxygen probes and associated circuitry and controls, purchase and installation of 1 Davit Crane and 3 Bases to be installed at each mixer site, and fabrication to modify or replace the existing catwalk to support the weight of the mixers as required, testing of equipment, and all other work necessary to perform said work in accordance with the Statement of Work. The magnitude of this project, expressed in dollars, is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this effort is 237110. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price construction contract will be awarded. The Government intends to issue a single solicitation and make a single award to one offeror. This acquisition will be a competitive total HUBZone set-aside reserved ONLY for HUBZone certified contractors. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation and all subsequent notices and amendments will be posted on the Internet at http://fedbizops.gov. The Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent solicitation notice.
