- This is a Sources Sought Announcement only. The VA Palo Alto Health Care System has a need to hire an Architect firm for the design of a new Mental Health Training and Education Center on the Palo Alto campus located at 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA. Building will be approximately 12,000 SF and will be sited on an existing undeveloped parcel adjacent to an existing building (Building 101). New Education and Training Center will be designed for future vertical expansion and include; Site Work, Landscaping and Parking. At this point in the procurement process the Department of Veterans Affairs is performing market research to determine if sufficient competition exists in one of the following Socio-economic categories; Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hubzone Small Business, and Small Disadvantage Businesses (8(a)). Interested firms fitting one or more of these Socio-economic categories should send their information by E-mail to joseph.mulstay@va.gov or by fax to 775-334-4106 no later than 4:30 PM Pacific Time July 17, 2009. Information shall include type of socio-economic category and the firms' location. NOTE: Interested firms shall be located within 100 miles of the VA Palo Alto facility.
