- RECOVERY - WASHINGTON, DC - SFO 07-014 -OFFICE SPACE NEEDED - U.S. GOVERNMENT may seek to satisfy new lease requirements through the Automated Advanced Acquisition Program, using funds derived from the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA), during the month of July. HOW TO OFFER: The Automated Advanced Acquisition Program (AAAP) is a Web application enabling the electronic offering of space for lease to the Federal Government. This web application is located at the following internet address: http://aaap.ncr.gsa.gov. In order to access this application, participants must go to the AAAP website, select the "Register to offer space" link and follow the instructions to register. Once registered, offerors may enter offers from JULY 8, 2009 through JULY 14, 2009 (the "Open Period"). The AAAP will be used to award leases, in increments of up to 100,000 BOMA Rentable Square Feet of office and related space yielding up to 90,000 ANSI/BOMA Office Area Square Feet of office space to satisfy new requirements. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards and/or combine multiple space requirements. Building/space specifications and offer terms and conditions are contained in the Solicitation for Offers and related documents posted on the website. Specific requirements will be identified after the close of the Open Period. In the event that ARRA funds are used to fund any specific requirement, the apparent successful offeror will be made aware of same at the time of identification. If ARRA funds are used to satisfy a particular requirement, the apparent successful offeror will be required to comply with the applicable provisions of the ARRA (Public Law 111-5). OCCUPANCY: Space must be ready for commencement of tenant alterations within 60 days of this notice. DELINEATED AREA: All properties offered to the Government pursuant to the listed SFO must be located in Washington, DC. Delineated areas are clarified further in the Solicitation for Offers posted on the AAAP website and may be restricted further when specific requirements are developed. LEASE TERM: Up to 10 years.
