- This synopsis provides notice of the Governments intent to solicit a proposal on a sole source basis from Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. (BAH), 8283 Greensboro Drive, Mclean, VA 22102-4904, for 104,760 man hours of Engineering, Technical, Management and Professional services to support the Special Communications Requirement Division of Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) supporting United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), the Family of Special Operations Vehicles (FOSOV), and the Joint Base Station (JBS) Radio Integration System efforts under contract N00421-06-C-0003. This acqisition will result in the modification of existing Booz Allen Hamilton contract N00421-06-C-0003 adding and exercising a cost plus fixed fee level of effort Option V with a period of performance that will run from 16 October 2009 to 01 April 2010. The modification is necessary because the current contract is scheduled to run out of ceiling 15 October 2009 and proposed Option V is needed for continuing support of ongoing projects currently being done under contract N00421-06-C-0003 while the follow-on contract is being competed. Due to the on-going nature of the projects currently being done under contract N00421-06-C-0003 and the need to continue these services without a break in the work, BAH is the only practical source for providing the necessary continuation of these services until award of a follow-on contract. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, responsible interested parties may submit a proposal in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all information received by 21 July 2009, 1500 hours EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
