Description

The date for receipt of proposals is extended to July 16, 2009 at 4:30pm. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools and materials required to construct a new Rabun Beach Bath House, Loop 2, and demolish two other bathhouses. Construction consists of a new 853 SF concrete masonry unit, 6-unit with separate handicap accessible toilet, standing seam metal roof, new septic drain field, and approximately 100 feet of access road with handicap access parking. Contract time is 120 calendar days. PROJECT LOCATION: Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests, Chattooga River Ranger District, Lake Rabun Road, Rabun County 218, Georgia. To reach the project, go north on US 441 from Tallulah Falls for approximately 1.1 miles, cross a bridge, then turn left (west) onto Old Hwy. 441. Continue on Old Hwy. 441 to the intersection with Lake Rabun Road. Take Lake Rabun Road west for about 3 miles to the campground on the left. ESTIMATE COST RANGE: between $250,000 and $500,000. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND DRAWINGS: The solicitation, AG-435H-S-09-0009 will be issued via FedBizOpps, as a Request for Proposal and will be available for downloading on or about June 5, 2009 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ All vendors are required to be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of a contract, http://www.ccr.gov/
