Description
DWG FOR TRUCK ACCESS RAMP This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation H92243-09-T-DR31 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and this is notice that NSWG2 Logistics Support Contracting Office, NAB Little Creek, Norfolk VA intends to award a firm fixed price contract. The associated naics code is 332999 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500. This is a small business set-aside. CLIN 0001 - Truck Access Ramp in accordance with specifications listed below and attached drawing. Ramp to access rear of tractor-trailer trucks. Access vehicles used on ramp ranging from commercial vans, pick-up trucks, to armored HMMWV weighing 14,000 lbs. plus load Ramp must be 108" wide, material: galvanized steel support construction, bar grate drive surface A 3' long deck is requested at the end which accesses the rear of tractor-trailer truck. SEE ATTACHED DRAWING Ramp must be mobile. Steel wheels must be used on the 3' deck end of the ramp, the other end rests upon the ground. SEE ATTACHED DRAWING Customer wants rubber bumpers on the platform end of the ramp to protect rear of trucks being unloaded. Bumpers must be 98" from center to center. Must be recessed into end of platform so that there is no gap between platform walk surface and truck bed. SEE ATTACHED DRAWING Customer wants 30' overall length of ramp. Customer wants an adjustable leg at platform end of ramp to change the height of the platform from 3' high to 5' high. Hand mechanism is okay. Maximum weight tolerance MUST BE 20,000 lbs. Requiring Loads and Reactions on ramp. Only written questions regarding this announcement will be accepted. If quoting equals, provide detailed specifications. All questions must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2009 in order to allow time to give responses.
