- Description
- The Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Randolph Air Force Base (AFB), Texas, hereby publicizes its intention to solicit for non-personal services to provide aircraft on a fee-for-service basis and the associated aircraft maintenance to support the PFP at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). The contractor shall provide sufficient, operational aircraft and the associated aircraft maintenance to perform the required services. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 481219, Other Nonscheduled Air Transportation, and the small business size standard is $7.0 million. This procurement is unrestricted (full and open competition). The period of performance will consist of a one-year basic period and three (3) one-year option periods. The Government intends to award one firm-fixed price (FFP) contract. The anticipated issue date for the Request for Proposal (RFP) is on or about 23 Jul 09, with the anticipated date for receipt of proposals on or about 24 Aug 09. The Government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies of documentation will not be made available.
