- NSN 4720-00-829-2671. Quantity 15,578. Unit of Issue is EA. This is a CRITICAL APPLICATION ITEM. Item must be IN ACCORDANCE WITH QAP 16236 SQAP008292761, REFNO,AMEND NR DTD 07 FEB 16, TYPE NUMBER; IN ACCORDANCE WITH DRAWING NR 81361 349-0181, REFNO, AMEND NR AA DTD 03 MAY 08, TYPE NUMBER; IN ACCORDANCE WITH DRAWING NR 81361 C5-19-916, BASIC, AMEND AA DTD 03 MAY 08, TYPE NUMBER C5-19-916; IN ACCORANCE WITH ASTM D2000, REFNO, AMEND NR, TYPE NUMBER M2AA514Z1; IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPEC NR MIL-DTL-14506H NOT 1, REFNO, AMEND NR H, TYPE NUMBER. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of one (1) NSN for use in various end items. This proposed procurement includes an item within the 4720 Federal Supply Class. The proposed contract will be solicited as Unrestricted using Full & Open Competition with exclusion of sources and is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in it's solicitation for the decribed supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The requirement will result in an award of a Large Purchase. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on 7-22-09 at the following web site: https://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisition of a 1G item which means the Government has unlimited rights to the technical data and the data package is complete. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures as approved by the cognizant Government Engineering Activity. The delivery for this acqusition will be FOB Destination with Inspection & Acceptance at Origin. First Article Testing is required for both Contractor and Government. Final award decision will be based on evaluation of price, delivery and past performance.
